The Process Engineering Supervisor will be responsible for managing a 5-7 person process engineering team. The ideal candidate will design, implement, monitor, and optimize industrial manufacturing processes to maximize efficiency, quality, and productivity. They will analyze operational data, identify areas for improvement, and develop solutions to streamline production while adhering to safety regulations, aiming to create the most effective and cost-efficient production methods possible within a facility.
Responsibilities
+ Supervise and coach a 5-7 person process engineering team to foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and technical expertise.
+ Lead the development and execution of the company’s process engineering and automation strategy to drive operational excellence.
+ Provide guidance, training, and performance management to ensure the team meets engineering and operational targets.
+ Mentor team members to provide growth and development opportunities.
+ Analyze existing production processes, identify bottlenecks, and design new or improved procedures to enhance efficiency and output.
+ Develop Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and stretch targets to measure the effectiveness of process improvements and report results to operational leadership.
+ Implement process changes, monitor performance metrics, and make adjustments as needed to ensure smooth operation and compliance with quality standards.
+ Improve manufacturing and assembly methods with a lean Six Sigma mindset.
+ Collect and interpret data from production lines to identify trends, diagnose issues, and develop optimization strategies.
+ Lead process improvement projects, including project plan development, timelines, and budgets.
+ Create, manage, and analyze labor routing standards and maintenance procedures.
+ Create maintenance procedures and PM schedules for equipment.
+ Identify and source equipment and tools required for electronic manufacturing.
+ Stay updated on new technologies and industry best practices to incorporate advancements into production processes.
+ Work closely with other departments like operations, quality control, and maintenance to ensure seamless integration and communication.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Bachelor's degree in a technical engineering field
+ 2-5 years of electronics manufacturing experience
+ 2 years experience in a management role
+ Demonstrated effectiveness in leading, problem-solving, and resource management
+ Previous Lean Six Sigma training and experience preferred
+ Experience with RCCA methodology
+ Ability to maintain and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems with automated production equipment
+ Strong oral and written communication skills
+ Excellent organization and planning skills
Work Environment
Clean facility with recent renovations. The company has recently invested significantly in new production equipment. The engineering team schedule is Monday-Thursday from 6:00 am to 3:30 pm, with every other Friday from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm. Relocation assistance will be provided if necessary. The team is collaborative with lots of upward mobility. Employees can receive an annual bonus of 6.5% or more based on individual performance.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $135000.00/yr.
