Job Title: Entry level Bridge Inspector
Job Description
Join our dynamic team as an entry level Engineering Bridge Inspector specializing in infrastructure inspection, including highway signs, culverts, and bridges. This role involves working on long-term contracts with opportunities for growth and leadership within the inspection team.
Responsibilities
+ Conduct thorough inspections of infrastructure projects, focusing on highway signs, culverts, and bridges.
+ Collaborate with teams to ensure compliance with CDOT and FHWA standards.
+ Perform in-service bridge inspections, utilizing knowledge of bridge engineering and construction.
+ Maintain detailed inspection records and reports for ongoing projects.
+ Travel locally within Colorado to remote areas for inspection assignments, ensuring timely completion of tasks.
Essential Skills
+ Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited university.
+ EIT certification in Civil Engineering.
+ Entry level no experience required open to new grads
+ Passion for bridges and good with field work
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience with infrastructure highway signage and culverts.
+ SPRAAT climbing certification a plus
+ Willingness to obtain additional certifications relevant to bridge inspection.
Work Environment
This position involves both office and onsite work, with travel required. The role includes working closely with a small team conducting bridge inspections across rural areas in Colorado. Office hours are typically no more than 40 hours per week, providing a balanced work environment with opportunities for overtime and relocation assistance.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $38.46 - $50.48/hr.
