Job Title: CMT Technician
Job Description
Candidates will be responsible for field testing of soils, concrete, and asphalt. LabCAT, American Concrete Institute (ACI) Level I, and WAQTC certifications are desired, though training will be provided for the appropriate candidate.
This position requires the ability to lift and carry heavy materials. Candidates must have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record and must pass a background check.
Responsibilities
+ Conduct field testing of soils, concrete, and asphalt.
+ Handle and transport testing materials safely.
+ Work with scheduling and oversight of the CMT team.
+ Engage in all client interactions professionally.
+ Work on a variety of projects, primarily vertical construction but also including renewables and transportation.
Essential Skills
+ 0 to 1 year experience as a CMT technician
+ ACI is a plus
+ Experience in soil and concrete testing.
+ Ability to pass a drug and background check.
+ Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ LabCAT, ACI Level I, and WAQTC certifications a plus
+ Strong interpersonal skills to work with multiple personalities.
+ Self-starter with a proactive attitude.
Work Environment
The company operates in Colorado with offices in South Denver, Parker, Colorado Springs, and Fort Collins. Employees work on a variety of projects, mainly vertical construction but also renewables and transportation. The role typically does not require weekend work. Employees have the opportunity to earn 5+ hours of overtime regularly.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
