Job Title: Transmission Line EngineerJob Description
We are seeking multiple Transmission Line Engineers to join our team due to growth and current project demands. This position offers a hybrid work environment, with office days from Tuesday to Thursday in our downtown Phoenix office and remote work on Mondays and Fridays.
Responsibilities
+ Perform engineering design work and engineering studies.
+ Act as an engineering project leader.
+ Prepare specifications and evaluate bids.
+ Prepare recommendation materials for management consideration.
+ Administer and review work performed by consultants and others.
+ Prepare and/or conduct written and oral reports and presentations.
+ Perform field engineering work.
+ Conduct engineering analyses.
+ Design and/or code computer programs.
+ Engineer and design high voltage transmission lines ranging from 69kV to 500kV using appropriate codes and specifications.
+ Perform structural analysis on various types of structures.
+ Evaluate requests for land and structure utilization within Transmission Rights-of-Way.
+ Draft and produce construction plans and obtain necessary permits.
+ Coordinate with external companies, municipalities, and internal groups including Land, Survey, Transmission Line Construction, and Maintenance.
Essential Skills
+ 3-5 years of engineering experience within the utility industry.
+ Proficiency in PLS-CADD software.
+ Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field.
+ At least passed the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) certification.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Engineer in Training (EIT) or Professional Engineer (PE) license.
+ Experience in telecom or communications.
+ Relevant internships in the field.
+ Experience with foundations or within the geotechnical industry.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $38.46 - $57.69/hr.
