Job Title: BIM Technician/Revit DesignerJob Description

We are seeking a skilled BIM Technician/Revit Designer to join our team in Houston, TX. This role involves designing construction projects with a focus on marine environments, utilizing Revit families and legends. The ideal candidate should have a strong structural background and proven experience in Revit and BIM 360.

Responsibilities

+ Design construction and marine type projects using Revit and BIM 360.

+ Work with Revit families and legends to create detailed project designs.

+ Utilize AutoCAD and Civil 3D for project design and documentation.

+ Prepare construction documents, including blueprints.

+ Manage RFIs and ensure project designs meet structural requirements.

+ Demonstrate initiative and the ability to work independently.

+ Receive training around marine concepts while applying existing Revit knowledge.

Essential Skills

+ Minimum of 3 years of experience working with Revit/BIM 360.

+ Structural background with expertise in construction design.

+ 1+ years of design experience in marine, construction, architectural, or industrial spaces.

+ 2+ years of Revit experience.

+ Knowledge of Revit families, legends, and corridors.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Marine experience and BIM 360 experience are a plus.

+ Experience with drafting, marine structures like wharfs, docks, piers, and dry docks.

Work Environment

This position is based in an office environment with working hours from 8 AM to 5 PM. The role offers room for growth and the opportunity to support diverse projects, including private LNG initiatives. Holidays are offered while on contract.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $28.00/hr.
