    Job Title: Construction Utility Estimator

    Job Description:

    We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Construction Utility Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of experience in civil construction, specifically with water, sewer, and storm utilities. Experience in estimating is preferred, however candidates with experience in civil construction as a field or project engineer who are interested in estimating will also be considered.

     

    In this role, you will work on a diverse range of civil projects, including apartment complexes, residential developments, commercial buildings, and office spaces. Your daily responsibilities will involve engaging with vendors, preparing estimates, communicating with clients, selling bids, and coordinating with field teams to ensure project alignment. Typically, you will produce around three estimates every two weeks, though this may vary based on project size. Strong communication skills are a must, as you will frequently interact with clients and subcontractors.

    Qualifications:

    + Minimum of 1 year of experience in civil construction with a focus on water, sewer, and storm utilities

    + Preferred: 1 year of utility estimating experience

    + Preferred: Earthwork estimating experience

    + Proficiency in Bid2Win

    Responsibilities:

    + Estimate a wide range of Wet Utility projects valued between $50,000 and $15,000,000, with current bids on several $30M projects

    + Ensure bids are completed accurately, timely, and competitively to secure projects

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $36.00 - $52.00/hr.
