    Actalent is looking for a full-time AI/ML Engineer to support our client, a leading DoD organization, onsite in Aurora, CO.

    Job Description

    This position is for an AI/ML Engineer looking for new challenging problems. You will support the development of AI/ML algorithms in a multitude of disciplines from object detection/classification, natural language processing, reinforcement learning, and large language models. Additionally, we have a team of excellent researchers and software developers who are eager to mentor and teach their craft. We have multiple positions available and welcome all experience levels!

    Responsibilities

    + Work as part of a small team consisting of developers and researchers to implement machine learning algorithms to solve a broad set of challenges for our various customers.

    + Analyze large multi-domain datasets such as images, text, and/or graph data to identify statistically relevant features to build models that provide analysts with actionable data.

    + Use cloud services to train and deploy ML models.

    + Review relevant publications to understand and apply cutting edge concepts to defense and commercial applications.

    + Write technical documentation supporting code, program capabilities, and user-guides.

    Essential Skills

    + Effective communicator with the ability to write and present technical reports.

    + Experience with Python and any of the following Python data science/machine learning libraries: NumPy, scikit-learn, TensorFlow, Keras, PyTorch.

    + Experience applying unsupervised and/or supervised machine learning techniques.

    + Experience applying and/or developing algorithms based on statistical analysis.

    + Experience analyzing large datasets and building models to perform inference.

    + BS in machine learning, computer science, mathematics, or relevant fields.

    + 2+ years of experience developing AI/ML applications, data science, and/or algorithm development.

    + Active TS/SCI clearance

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience leading an interdisciplinary team of researchers and software developers.

    + Experience with Large Language Models and identifying ways to incorporate them into new areas and applications.

    + Experience with object detection algorithms such as YOLO and Faster-RCNN.

    + Experience with Natural Language Processing algorithms such as Transformers and RNNs.

    + Experience applying Transformer-based architectures to domains outside of NLP such as computer vision.

    + Experience with Generative Adversarial Networks and Variational Autoencoders.

    + Familiarity with reinforcement learning and tools such as OpenAI Gym, RLlib, and Stable Baselines.

    + Experience applying clustering algorithms and/or deep neural networks to real-life problems.

    + Experience implementing tracking & fusion and pattern-of-life algorithms.

    + Experience with machine learning libraries and frameworks such as Hugging Face and LangChain.

    + Experience with Linux.

    + Familiarity with using AWS cloud computing resources such as EC2, S3, Lambda, etc.

    Work Environment

    This position is all on-site in Aurora or King of Prussia. The work schedule is flexible, with options for 4 10-hour days or a 9/80 schedule.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $70.00/hr.
