The Credit Analyst II is integral in performing complex analyses on accounts to assess creditworthiness. This role involves developing, maintaining, and implementing credit policies and procedures aimed at minimizing credit risks from counterparties. Additionally, the position supports cross-functional initiatives with a focus on customer satisfaction and continuous improvement. Each team member is responsible for after-hours coverage on a rotating basis, though after-hours requests are rare, occurring no more than 1-2 times per month.
Responsibilities
+ Actively manage and control delinquent accounts to limit risk and reduce bad debt losses.
+ Analyze and report on creditworthiness of customers and financial counterparties through credit applications, credit reports, and financial statements.
+ Monitor customer activity and recommend revisions to credit levels and limits as needed.
+ Request credit documentation from customers, parental guarantees, and investigate order holds due to credit issues, recommending timely resolutions.
+ Oversee and maintain processes and procedures to meet departmental internal control requirements, ensuring established procedures are followed.
+ Work within deadlines and outside regularly scheduled hours, including rotating weekends on-call.
Essential Skills
+ High School diploma or GED required; bachelor's degree is a plus.
+ Prefer 5+ years of experience as a financial analyst and/or credit experience.
+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
+ Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
+ Proficient in MS Office Suite, Excel, and PowerPoint.
+ Experience with SAP/S4, Salesforce, and Oracle preferred.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ BA/BS degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration or equivalent experience.
+ 3-7 years of professional experience with commercial credit in a B2B environment.
+ Expert level skills with Microsoft Office products, including Excel and SAP.
+ Certified Credit and Risk Analyst (CCRA) designation preferred.
+ Oracle/SAP/Tableau experience.
+ Knowledge of financial ratios and statements.
+ UK/International experience.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $37.00 - $42.00/hr.
