Job Description
The Credit Analyst II is entrusted with performing complex credit analysis and assessing creditworthiness for a diverse range of customers. You will be instrumental in developing, maintaining, and implementing credit policies and procedures aimed at minimizing credit risks. Your role will support cross-functional initiatives with an emphasis on customer satisfaction and continuous improvement.
Must Have Skills
+ High School diploma or GED required; bachelor's degree is a plus.
+ 3+ years of experience as a financial analyst or in a credit role is preferred.
+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
+ Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
+ Proficiency in MS Office Suite, including Excel and PowerPoint.
+ Experience with SAP/S4, Salesforce, and Oracle is preferred.
Responsibilities
+ Actively manage and control delinquent accounts to mitigate risk and reduce bad debt losses.
+ Analyze and report on the creditworthiness of customers and financial counterparties using credit applications, credit reports, and financial statements.
+ Monitor customer activities and recommend adjustments to credit levels and limits as necessary.
+ Request credit documentation from customers, including parental guarantees, and investigate order holds due to credit issues, providing timely resolutions.
+ Oversee and maintain departmental processes and procedures to meet internal control requirements, ensuring adherence to established protocols.
+ Work within deadlines and provide after-hours support, including rotating weekends on-call.
+ Take the lead in sales and customer calls or meetings related to risk analysis.
+ Adapt daily schedules to accommodate high-priority requests and maintain a process improvement mindset.
+ Conduct annual or quarterly reviews of accounts to identify and mitigate risks with specific customers.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ BA/BS degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration, or equivalent experience.
+ 3 – 7 years of professional experience in commercial credit in a business-to-business environment.
+ Expert level skills with Microsoft Office products, Excel, and SAP.
+ Certified Credit and Risk Analyst (CCRA) designation is preferred.
+ Customer service-oriented with excellent communication and analytical skills.
+ Knowledge of Oracle, SAP, Tableau, financial ratios, and financial statement analysis.
+ Experience with UK/International markets.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $37.00 - $42.00/hr.
