    Job Posting: Mechanic Assembler

     

    1st Shift: Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM (1-hour lunch break)

    Job Description:

    We are seeking dedicated and detail-oriented Assemblers to join our team. As an Assembler, you will work within your own individual stand-up workstations utilizing hand and power tools to assemble various mechanical parts of a shallow water anchor, known as Power Pole. Your responsibilities will include:

     

    + Assembly Tasks: Utilize hand and power tools to assemble metal poles, nuts, bolts, and pressure hoses.

    + Manual Handling: Lift pallets or workstations for assembly line tasks.

    + Quality Control: Perform quality checks on products and parts to ensure they meet specifications.

    + Inspection: Inspect and measure machined workpieces to verify conformance to specifications.

    + Kit Assembly: Count and assemble kits for other components.

    + Packaging: Wrap and box components for shipment.

    + Cleaning: Clean machined parts and equipment, such as drill tables and drill presses.

    + Machine Tending: Operate and tend machines and equipment other than machine tools.

    Skills Required:

    + Experience in assembly, particularly mechanical or electrical.

    + Proficiency with hand and power tools.

    + Ability to follow instructions and understand basic blueprints.

    + Capability to stand for 8-10 hours per shift.

    + Understanding of safety protocols within a manufacturing environment.

    + Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn and cross-train.

    + Ability to lift 30-50 lbs.

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.
