Job Title: Carpenter

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join a dynamic commercial construction team. This role is ideal for individuals with a minimum of 2 years of experience in framing metal studs, acoustical ceiling installation, and drywall hanging or finishing. A valid driver's license and personal vehicle are required.

Responsibilities

+ Construct, install, and repair projects using metal stud framer/hanger/finisher hand tools and power tools.

+ Follow blueprints and specifications accurately.

+ Frame walls, hang, and finish drywall, and install ceilings efficiently and with high quality.

+ Prepare or assist with layout using tools such as lasers, squares, and chalk lines.

Essential Skills

+ Experience in framing, drywall hanging, and rough carpentry.

+ Proficiency with hand tools and power tools.

+ Ability to read and interpret blueprints.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ At least 1 year of general construction experience.

+ OSHA 10 certification.

Work Environment

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tonawanda, New York.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $33.00/hr.
