    Aerotek's client is looking for a Sprinkler Foreman to join their team in the NOVA area

    Job Description

    + Join a leading fire protection company with over four decades of experience in providing comprehensive fire protection systems. We seek a dedicated Foreman to oversee the layout, fabrication, assembly, installation, and maintenance of piping and piping systems, including sprinkling and industrial processing systems. This role is based in our Ashburn, Virginia office, and focuses on projects across Northern Virginia.

    Responsibilities

    + Install pipe fittings, hangers, couplings, and sprinklers according to design plans and codes to ensure building safety.

    + Complete all required weekly paperwork for CFP and as directed by the General Contractor.

    + Communicate with designers before implementing any design changes.

    + Report any material shortages to the designer.

    + Produce red-line drawings for submission to the designer.

    + Inform Field Superintendent and Project Manager of project and schedule changes.

    + Attend project and coordination meetings as needed.

    + Submit daily progress reports to Field Superintendent and General Contractor.

    + Immediately document and report water damage, injuries, and/or accidents to the Field Superintendent and General Manager.

    + Train Fitters and Helpers in proper installation techniques.

    Essential Skills

    + Expertise in construction, blueprint interpretation, and sprinkler system installation.

    + Experience running work as a foreman.

    + A minimum of 7 years of experience in fitting and 2 years as a foreman.

    + Possession of OSHA 30 certification.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Proficiency in managing fit-out or new build projects.

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $30.00/hr.
