HVAC Service Technician

Job Description

As a Service Technician, you will be responsible for troubleshooting commercial HVAC equipment, predominantly rooftop units, across various facilities in the Austin area. You will have the convenience of dispatching from home with a provided work truck or van, eliminating the need to visit the shop daily. Initially, you will work alongside a Lead Technician for a couple of weeks before transitioning to independent service calls.

Responsibilities

+ Troubleshoot and repair commercial HVAC equipment, mainly rooftop units.

+ Conduct service work across multiple sites daily.

+ Collaborate with a Lead Technician during the initial training period.

+ Ensure quality service delivery to maintain customer satisfaction.

Essential Skills

+ 4 years of experience in HVAC.

+ Proficiency in HVAC maintenance and repair.

+ Valid Driver's License.

+ EPA Certification.

+ Registration through TDLR.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Ability to work effectively outdoors in various weather conditions.

Work Environment

The role involves service work with daily visits to different sites for equipment troubleshooting and repair. Be prepared to work outdoors, adapting to different weather conditions. The typical shift starts around 8 AM and ends when tasks are completed, usually by 5 PM but may vary.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Austin, Texas.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $40.00/hr.
