    Job Title: CNC Machinist - Night Shift

    Job Description

    We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our team. You will be responsible for machining parts for the automotive, aerospace, and medical industries with tight tolerances. The ideal candidate must be able to edit programs, select proper tooling, understand controls (Fanuc), read blueprints, and use measuring tools such as micrometers and calipers. Additionally, you must be able to zero out the X-Y and Z axis before starting new jobs and perform tool touch-offs to set proper tooling height from the XYZ axis.

    Responsibilities

    + Machining parts for the automotive, aerospace, and medical industries.

    + Editing programs and selecting proper tooling.

    + Understanding and operating Fanuc controls.

    + Reading blueprints and using measuring tools such as micrometers and calipers.

    + Zeroing out X-Y and Z axis before starting new jobs.

    + Performing tool touch-offs to set proper tooling height from the XYZ axis.

    Essential Skills

    + Experience with CNC machining and boring mills.

    + Ability to read and interpret blueprints.

    + Proficiency in programming with Vizi, Work NC, or Mastercam.

    + Understanding of Fanuc controls or other programming.

    + Skilled in using micrometers and calipers.

     

    Work Environment

     

    This position is for the night shift (3:30 pm - 1:30 am) Monday through Friday. The work environment is a machine shop setting with large equipment, overhead cranes, and high-lo experience. It involves grease and dirt, typical of a machine shop.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $28.00/hr.
