Job Title: Assembler

Job Description

We are seeking an attentive and collaborative Assembler for the 2nd shift at our state-of-the-art facility. The role requires flexibility and a willingness to be cross-trained in various areas to support a comprehensive 12-step process, ensuring the smooth operation of modem assembly and repair.

Responsibilities

+ Document received items in the receiving process.

+ Perform manual factory resets with precision.

+ Conduct automatic tests by plugging in up to 32 units and assess repair needs.

+ Execute Wi-Fi tests and elevated temperature tests.

+ Perform cosmetic cleaning and repairs on modems.

+ Engage in In Process Quality Control (IPQC).

+ Prepare kits and participate in pack out and pallet building for shipping.

+ Ensure 40% of modems successfully complete the entire process.

+ Handle scanning of parts at every step of the process.

+ Strong attention to detail.

+ Ability to work on feet for the entire day.

+ Team-oriented with excellent collaboration skills.

+ Willingness to be cross-trained in various areas of the process.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Hand dexterity.

+ Punctuality.

+ Experience with assembly, packing, repair parts, and refurbishing.

+ Proficiency in using test equipment, RF scanners, computers, blueprints, and power tools.

Work Environment

Join us in a brand new facility designed specifically for our operations, featuring a locker area and a cafeteria equipped with refrigerators and microwaves. Conveniently located in Elgin, IL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $18.00/hr.
