Job Details The Speech Language Pathologist provides inpatient acute care services and is a vital member of a multidisciplinary team providing advanced, high quality healthcare. Responsibilities: Inpatient services of cardiac, orthopedic, neurologic, vascular, pulmonary and medical-surgical patients Educate patient and family members Work with interdisciplinary team for plan of care Knowledge of hospital, Joint Commission, state and federal guidelines Requirements: MBS (Modified Barium Swallow) required NYS SLP license and registration Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology Strong communication skills 1-2 years experience required preferably in a hospital setting Salary Range USD $66.78 - USD $66.78 /Hr. This range serves as a good faith estimate and actual pay will encompass a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience.
