Job Title: Mold Setter

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and mechanically inclined Mold Setter for our 2nd shift. This role involves setting molds for injection molding machines and monitoring the manufacturing process to ensure optimal performance and quality.

Responsibilities

+ Set molds for injection molding machines.

+ Monitor manufacturing process parameters such as temperature, pressure, cycle times, and flow rates using the HMI screen.

+ Verify and adjust color concentrates as required.

+ Collaborate with the quality control team to ensure parts meet customer specifications.

Essential Skills

+ Experience in mold setting.

+ Mechanical aptitude.

+ Ability to make machine adjustments.

+ Proficiency in overhead crane operation.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Strong preference for candidates with injection molding mold setter experience.

+ Consideration for candidates with die setter experience or significant press experience.

+ Ability to memorize a sequence of tasks to be performed efficiently.

Work Environment

Work in a plastic injection molding facility with approximately 400 employees. The environment is not temperature controlled, so conditions inside reflect the outside weather. Join a team of six mold setters on the 2nd shift, working from 3 PM to 11:15 PM, with occasional weekend shifts.

This is a Permanent position based out of Leitchfield, Kentucky.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $41600.00 - $58240.00/yr.
