Production / Industrial Painter - Grandview, MO

•The Painter is responsible for painting highly engineered, custom built mobile material handling machinery for rail related markets. They

operate in a spray booth as well as a blast bay. As a member of the Services Division, you will be responsible for painting fabricated parts, components, or

units in a paint booth. You will also work in a blast bay to prep the items needing paint.”

Duties::

+ Parts prep through the use of sandblaster, hand sanding

+ tools, and other methods

+ Application of industrial primer & paint using a

+ pressure pot spray system or gravity fed spray gun

+ Application of two part corrosion resistant undercoating

+ Clean, touchup, and final inspection of finished railcar

+ mover before shipment

+ Prioritized work to ensure production areas and warehouse

+ receive parts as needed

+ Use a variety of hand and power tools following appropriate

+ methods and procedures

+ Maintain a clean/organized work area through daily 5S and

+ maintain equipment accordingly

Experience:

+ 3-5+ years in a production painting environment

+ Technical Skills

+ Ability to read and understand blueprints

+ Ability to operate a computer to read and input data

+ Ability to operate hand tools and read measuring devices

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $45760.00 - $45760.00/yr.
