    Job Title: Heavy Assembly

    Job Description

    Assemblers are responsible for working in the commercial filter department, performing mechanical assembly. This role involves reading basic schematics and using various hand and power tools such as wrenches, sockets, screwdrivers, wire strippers, cutters, and pliers. The position requires lifting 50+ pounds and working at the end of the assembly line.

    Responsibilities

    + Perform mechanical assembly in the commercial filter department.

    + Read and follow basic schematics.

    + Use various hand and power tools including wrenches, sockets, screwdrivers, wire strippers, cutters, and pliers.

    + Lift and handle materials weighing 50+ pounds.

    + Work at the end of the assembly line.

    + Adhere to company policies around attendance and expectations.

    Essential Skills

    + Ability to read and follow basic schematics.

    + Strong attention to detail.

    + Proficiency in speaking, reading, and writing English.

    + Ability to work on feet for 8 hours.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Assembly experience.

    + Experience with hand or power tools.

    + Previous order picking experience.

    Work Environment

     

    The work environment includes assembling various water softeners and filters for residential and commercial industries. One commercial filter can take up to 4 hours to complete. Employees must be comfortable working on their own in a very clean and modern assembly warehouse. The role involves some material handling duties and lifting up to 40 pounds.

     

    Job Type & Location

     

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of ROSELLE, Illinois.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $17.50 - $17.50/hr.
