    Job Title: 1st or 2nd Shift Quality Inspector

    Job Description

    We are seeking a dedicated Quality Inspector to ensure the quality of components and assemblies through various inspection processes. The ideal candidate will have experience in aerospace inspection and a strong understanding of AS9102 standards.

    Responsibilities

    + Perform Receiving, In-Process, and Final inspections adhering to quality processes and procedures.

    + Complete required documentation accurately and timely.

    + Conduct AS9102 first article inspections and other extensive inspections per specifications.

    + Document all inspections in accordance with established procedures and processes.

    + Develop and review inspection plans to ensure compliance with quality standards.

    + Ensure quality standards are met for all components and assemblies for final acceptance.

    + Maintain parts history folders, inspection reports, and prints/drawings.

    + Calibrate and document hand tools and other inspection equipment.

    + Perform visual inspections and conduct hardness and electrical conductivity testing.

    Essential Skills

    + 3-5 years of aerospace inspection experience.

    + Proficiency with AS9102 inspection standards.

    + Experience inspecting tubular and cylindrical components.

    + Ability to use manual and digital calipers and micrometers.

    + Capability to measure tolerances to the tenths with no error.

    + Strong understanding of GD&T, including symbol recognition.

    + Good computer skills and ability to document work in an ERP system independently once trained.

     

    Work Environment

     

    You will be working in a large, non-union manufacturing environment. Our company has completed an extensive modernization effort, resulting in a contemporary, eco-friendly, and environmentally compliant state-of-the-art industrial enterprise. We design and manufacture precision metallic tubular parts and assemblies for the commercial aircraft, aerospace, defense, and industrial markets.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $31.00 - $32.00/hr.
