Job Title: Warehouse Laborer II

Job Description

We are seeking a Warehouse Laborer II to join our dynamic team on the 2nd Shift Loading Team. This role involves working in a distribution warehouse, both indoors and outdoors, handling various tasks related to picking and staging orders, as well as quality inspections and palletizing. The position requires proficiency with sit-down forklifts and the ability to read and understand order picking lists and directions.

Responsibilities

+ Operate sit-down forklifts in an active warehouse environment.

+ Read and understand order picking lists.

+ Pick and stage orders for next day deliveries according to the documented plan.

+ Handle scraps and perform quality inspections on products.

+ Palletize products and perform various functions along the production line.

+ Support different functions such as palletizing or performing quality inspections on plastic sheets.

Essential Skills

+ Proficiency with sit-down forklifts.

+ Ability to read, understand, and carry out written and spoken directions.

+ Ability to work independently and seek clarification when needed.

+ Experience in machine operation, manufacturing, and production.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ At least 6 months of experience in manufacturing or production.

+ Experience with plastic manufacturing and saw operation is a plus.

Work Environment

You will be working as part of a team running a production line, with 270 internal employees spread over three buildings. The facility operates Monday through Friday from 4 PM to 1 AM, and you will be part of a growing company with opportunities to take on additional responsibilities as the company expands.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Kutztown, Pennsylvania.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.50/hr.
