Control Panel Wirer

Responsibilities

+ **Perform electrical controls panel wiring.**

+ **Follow wiring diagrams and schematics to ensure accurate assembly.**

+ **Install pre-wired panels into control boxes.**

+ **Terminate wiring based on schematic instructions.**

+ **Diagnose and troubleshoot issues by understanding blueprints and schematic drawings to determine wiring layout.**

+ **Inspect parts for defects to ensure quality standards are met.**

+ **Ensure proper protective equipment is worn at all times and tools are used appropriately.**

+ **Maintain regular in-person attendance as an essential function of this job.**

Essential Skills

+ **At least 2 years’ experience as a Panel Builder or Panel Wirer in a job shop environment.**

+ **Knowledge of electrical symbols and schematics.**

+ **Basic computer skills.**

+ **Proficiency in using shop equipment and hand tools.**

+ **Ability to perform basic math functions, including understanding fractions and decimals.**

+ **Capability to take direction, follow instructions, and work cooperatively with others.**

+ **Fluency in English to facilitate department huddles, collaborate with engineers, and assign duties.**

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.00/hr.
