Job Title: Forklift Driver

Job Description

The forklift operator will utilize a stand-up forklift to efficiently pick and pull orders and load or unload trucks. This role involves receiving orders from customers, accurately picking the orders, and preparing them for loading onto the customers' trucks. The typical workday consists of approximately 70% forklift operation and 30% manual labor, including tasks such as wrapping products, hand-picking items off pallets, rearranging the warehouse, and maintaining a clean work area.

Responsibilities

+ Operate stand-up forklift to pick and pull orders and load/unload trucks.

+ Receive and accurately pick customer orders.

+ Prepare orders for loading onto customer trucks.

+ Perform manual labor tasks such as wrapping products and hand-picking items off pallets.

+ Rearrange the warehouse as needed.

+ Ensure the work area is clean and organized.

Schedule: Monday - Friday 11:00pm - 7:30am

Essential Skills

+ Proficiency in operating a stand-up forklift.

+ Experience in warehouse inventory control.

+ Ability to pull orders accurately.

+ Data entry skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ ERP experience is a plus.

Work Environment

The role requires working in a cold refrigerated environment and involves standing for over 8 hours. One day of weekend overtime is mandatory.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of VISTA, California.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr.
