Overview

We are seeking dedicated production line workers to join our glass line team. As part of our production team, you will maintain production by off-loading machines and hanging finished products for the painting line. This is a physical job that requires the ability to lift 50 lbs and and requires candidates to inspect and stack finished painted products.

**Schedules are Monday through Friday 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM -Train on 1st until ready (6 AM to 4:30 PM)** .

Responsibilities

+ Assist machine operators when there are no sheets to process.

+ Maintain production of the glass line, ensuring material moves efficiently down the line.

+ Hang steel material, offload steel, inspect, and then stack the materials.

+ Perform general labor tasks including pulling hooks from sheets, running the spinner, and unloading sheets from the glass line.

+ Ensure efficiency goals are met to satisfy client needs and demands.

Essential Skills

+ Experience in general labor and production tasks.

+ Familiarity with hand and power tools.

+ Production line experience.

+ Experience with machine operation and forklift handling.

+ 2 years of manufacturing experience.

+ Experience in the steel industry.

+ Blueprint and machine operating skills are a plus.

+ Ability to lift 50lbs.

Work Environment

Work in a large manufacturing plant environment with typical exposure to noise, dust, and hazards associated with a high-traffic, heavy machinery setting. Training is conducted on the first shift until ready, typically 60-90 days. **After training, the shift will be 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM,** with a differential pay increase upon shift change.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.31 - $18.31/hr.
