Job Title: CNC Horizontal Mill Machinist
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled CNC Horizontal Mill Machinist to produce short run, prototype parts. This role requires the ability to perform all programming at the controller using Fanuc controls and G&M codes, read blueprints, and ensure the quality of machined parts. The machinist will work primarily with Horizontal Mills, specifically Haas and Mori-Seiki machines.
Responsibilities
+ Program parts directly at the controller using Fanuc controls and G&M codes.
+ Read and interpret blueprints to accurately machine parts.
+ Perform complete setups on CNC Horizontal Mills.
+ Check the quality of machined parts using micrometers, calipers, and potentially CMM.
+ Work on short run projects in a prototype environment.
Essential Skills
+ 3+ years experience with complete setups on CNC Horizontal Mills using Fanuc controls.
+ 3+ years experience in programming at the controller using G&M codes.
+ 2+ years experience in short run prototype machining.
+ 2+ years experience in quality checking parts using measuring tools.
+ Understanding of GD&T principles.
1st shift paying mid to high $20's and into the $30's
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $33.60/hr.
