Job Description: Forklift Operator

Position: Forklift Operator

Pay Rate: $17.00/hour

Shift: Day Shift

Schedule Options:

Monday - Thursday: 5:30 AM - 4:00 PM / Friday: 6:00 AM - 12:00 PM / Weekends OFF

Monday - Thursday: 6:15 AM - 4:45 PM / Friday: 6:00 AM - 12:00 PM / Weekends OFF

Essential Qualifications:

Ability to read, comprehend, and follow safety instructions and guidelines.

Ability to pass a forklift test and obtain forklift certification.

Proficient in operating a forklift, following all operating instructions effectively and efficiently.

Ability to read and apply accurate labels.

Accurate measurement and weighing skills.

Capability to lift and handle containers such as 5-gallon pails up to 75 lbs., 60 lb. bags of pigment, or maneuvering drums up to 900 lbs.

Effective interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently.

Strong multi-tasking and priority-balancing skills.

Dedicated and committed to safety leadership and presence.

Ability to climb stairs while wearing steel-toed footwear.

Ability to work in hot and cold environments and inclement weather.

Ability to work in a heavy manufacturing environment with exposure to chemical agents.

Ability to stand or walk for long periods of time.

Arm-hand steadiness for keeping your arm or hand steady.

Near vision for reading labels and seeing details up close.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.
