    Job Title: Lead Gluer Operator

    Job Description

    We are seeking a skilled Lead Gluer Operator to oversee the operation, efficiency, and quality of our gluer machines. This position involves leading the crew, estimating production speeds, managing belt inventory, and maintaining gluing equipment and glue guns. The Lead Gluer Operator will play a pivotal role in optimizing production processes, troubleshooting issues, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

    Responsibilities

    + Oversee the operation of gluer machines, ensuring efficiency and quality.

    + Lead and mentor the gluer operator team.

    + Estimate production speeds and manage belt inventory.

    + Maintain gluing equipment.

    + Optimize production processes and troubleshoot machine issues.

    + Support and implement continuous improvement initiatives.

    Essential Skills

    + 3-5 years of experience with gluer machines.

    + Proficiency in using systems on Bobst gluing machines or similar systems.

    + Ability to set up machines and ensure smooth operation.

    + Experience working with auto bottoms, crash lock, 4-corners, and 6-fold corrugated boxes.

    + Utilize glue extrusion systems.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Leadership skills to guide mid-level gluer operators.

    + Experience in setups, changeovers, troubleshooting, and machine operating.

    + Familiarity with glue detection systems, printing press, and production processes.

    Our facility is spacious and clean, requiring hair nets and beard nets. While it is non-climate controlled, it features industrial fans and misters to maintain comfort. Enjoy working in a large, well-maintained space designed to facilitate efficient production.

    This is a Permanent position based out of High Point, North Carolina.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $44160.00 - $62400.00/yr.
