    Job Title: Field Technician

    Job Description

    We are looking for an experienced Field Technician with expertise in soils compaction, foundation inspection, concrete testing, and reinforcement inspection. The ideal candidate will possess knowledge of soil testing techniques, including nuclear gauge, sand cone, and soil classification. Reliable transportation (preferably a light truck) is required to access various work sites in the Baltimore/Washington area.

    Responsibilities

    + Perform soils compaction testing and foundation inspections

    + Conduct concrete testing and reinforcement inspections

    + Utilize nuclear gauge and sand cone methods for soil testing

    + Classify soils accurately

    + Travel to different sites to test soil, concrete, and asphalt

    Essential Skills

    + Experience in soil sample testing

    + Proficiency in asphalt testing

    + Skilled in concrete testing

    + Knowledge of nuclear gauge and sand cone methods

    + Familiarity with soil classification

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + WACEL certification

    + ACI certification

    + MARTCP certification is a plus

    The contractor will be required to visit various sites to conduct soil, concrete, and asphalt testing. Reliable transportation is necessary for traveling to these locations.

    This is a Permanent position based out of Bishopville, Maryland.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $47840.00 - $58240.00/yr.
