Job Title: Warehouse Worker

Job Description

We are seeking dedicated and enthusiastic individuals to join our warehouse team. As a Warehouse Worker, you will be on your feet for the entire 8+ hour shifts, handling a variety of tasks using handheld devices (RF Scan Guns) to enter and code information necessary for work orders and part numbers. This role is ideal for individuals with at least 6 months of experience in a warehouse, distribution, or manufacturing environment who are willing to learn and can thrive in a fast-paced, non-climate-controlled environment.

Responsibilities

+ Operate handheld devices (RF Scan Guns) to enter and code information for work orders and part numbers.

+ Maintain consistent day-to-day responsibilities within the warehouse environment.

+ Handle, sort, and pack items efficiently.

+ Perform inventory control tasks and manage shipping and receiving duties.

+ Ensure accurate matching of orders and kitting of parts.

+ Push, pull, and lift items up to 40 lbs as needed.

+ Stand on concrete surfaces for extended periods.

Essential Skills

+ Minimum of 6 months experience in a warehouse, distribution, or manufacturing environment.

+ Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS).

+ Ability to pass a math and matching numbers test with at least a 70% score.

+ Comfortable working in a non-temperature-controlled environment.

+ Basic computer skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience with shipping, receiving, general labor, sorting, picker/packer roles, and inventory control.

+ Possession of safety/composite toe shoes or boots.

Work Environment

This role is based in a large warehouse environment with a team of approximately 350 people. The warehouse spans about 400,000 sq. ft. and is not climate controlled. You will need to wear jeans and safety/composite toe shoes or boots, which can be purchased at Walmart. The hours and shifts will be provided in additional information.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $17.50/hr.
