    Job Title: General Production Worker

    Responsibilities

    + Ensure compliance with company Health and Safety Policies.

    + Report defective equipment and all accidents.

    + Conduct quality control tests and inspections, reporting any deviations to the Supervisor.

    + Accurately complete paperwork detailing the ingredients used in each blend, along with additional instructions and sign-offs.

    + Adhere to the production schedule as laid out by the Production Supervisor.

    + Report all production transactions to SAP/SFoL accurately and timely for precise stock management.

    + Train new starters on the job when fully trained and competent.

    + Participate in continuous improvement activities such as 5S.

    + Generate and implement ideas to improve the department.

    + Collect process samples and coordinate with laboratory personnel for analysis.

    + Maintain required log sheets including batch tickets, packaging sheets, scrubber operation logs, pH meter calibration, and equipment inspections.

    + Attend required HSE training, including Hazardous Waste Management, emergency response, and Hazard Communication.

    + Package, mark, and label Hazardous Waste containers.

    + Operate equipment and follow procedures in accordance with ISO 9001 and OHSA standards.

    Essential Skills

    + Experience in production, general production, hand tool usage, assembly, and inspection.

    + Attention to detail and understanding of manufacturing processes.

    + Knowledge of extrusion and polymers.

    + Machine operation and cleanroom experience.

    + Familiarity with GMP standards.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + High School Diploma or GED equivalent with at least 2 years of applicable experience, preferably in chemical manufacturing.

    + Experience working in a cleanroom environment.

    + Strong verbal and written communication skills.

    + Ability to convey technical information effectively and concisely.

    + Good housekeeping practices.

    + Positive communication and teamwork skills.

    + Ability to work on own initiative.

    + Numeracy skills.

    + Understanding of written instructions.

    Work Environment

     

    Work in a well-lit and clean environment with flexible start times between 8:00 am and 9:00 am, Monday through Friday.

     

    Job Type & Location

     

    This is a 2 year contract position based out of Suwanee, Georgia.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $22.00/hr.
