    Job Title: Maintenance Technician

    Job Description

    The Maintenance Technician (Technical Specialist) will be responsible for setting up and maintaining the production line for manufacturing home and garden products. This role involves ensuring the efficient operation of machinery and equipment by performing set-ups, changeovers, and maintenance tasks.

    Responsibilities

    + Perform set-ups and changeovers of production line and machinery.

    + Conduct adjustments, preventative maintenance, and repairs on equipment to maximize run time.

    + Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical breakdowns.

    + Check the quality of products during the production process.

    Essential Skills

    + Minimum 2 years of experience in a high-speed manufacturing environment.

    + Experience in general maintenance, machinery setup, and operation.

    + Minimum 2 years of experience troubleshooting and repairing packaging equipment.

    + Experience in performing set-ups and adjustments on machinery.

    + Experience replacing motors and gearboxes.

    + Ability to perform quality checks on machinery and products.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience in high-volume production lines is preferred.

    + Food industry experience is beneficial but not required.

    + Basic electrical knowledge and experience is preferred, including unwiring/rewiring a motor.

    Work Environment

     

    This position offers a rotating schedule with three openings from 7:00am to 7:00pm and four openings from 7:00pm to 7:00am, each working four days on and four days off. The role includes a 30-minute unpaid lunch break. You will work alongside general production workers, machine operators, and forklifts in a bustling manufacturing setting.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Overland, Missouri.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $32.00/hr.
