    Job Title: CNC Machinist - $24 - $36/hr - Direct Hire

    Job Description

    We are seeking a skilled machinist to set up and operate CNC machines. The ideal candidate will be adept at reading and interpreting blueprints and engineering drawings, performing set-ups, changeovers, and teardowns, while ensuring quality assurance through inspection, dimensional checks, part appearance, and conformance.

    Responsibilities

    + Set up and operate CNC machines effectively and efficiently.

    + Read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings accurately.

    + Perform set-ups, changeovers, and teardowns of machinery.

    + Understand and apply GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) principles.

    + Operate Mills and Lathes with proficiency.

    + Load and unload machines safely and correctly.

    + Conduct quality assurance including inspection, dimensional checks, and conformance checks.

    + Perform minor maintenance and troubleshooting tasks as needed.

    Essential Skills

    + CNC Mill and Lathe operation.

    + Blueprint interpretation.

    + Set-ups and teardowns.

    + Changeovers.

    + Understanding of GD&T.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience with drill press and shear operations.

    + Troubleshooting skills.

    + Mechanical aptitude.

    + Experience with braiding, lathe, and machine operating.

    + Knowledge of machine operation, programming, SolidWorks, and machining.

    + Familiarity with grinding, machine operation, programming, SolidWorks, and machining.

    + Experience with Autocad, system layout, automation, development, debugging, and caliper usage.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $49920.00 - $74880.00/yr.
