Job Title: 2nd Shift Production Supervisor

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to join our team for the **2nd shift, operating from 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM.** This role requires someone with production lead or supervisor experience, capable of overseeing a team of 20-30 individuals within production including operators, assemblers, and general labor associates. The position is hands-on, requiring active participation in machine operations within a family-owned and operated company that is less structured with processes.

**Pay** : $25-32.00 per hour starting

Responsibilities

+ Oversee and supervise a team of 20-30 employees on the 2nd shift.

+ Actively participate in machine operations and ensure smooth workflow.

+ Train new employees and support process improvements.

+ Ensure quality inspection and supervision of production activities.

+ Foster a team-oriented environment and lead by example.

Essential Skills

+ Experience in production supervision or lead role.

+ Proven ability to oversee teams of 15-30 individuals.

+ Hands-on experience with machine operations, including CNC machinery, wire stripping, wire cutting, welding cells, and plating lines.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Strong team leadership and general labor skills.

+ Experience in a machine shop environment.

Work Environment

You will work in a machine shop environment, interacting with various CNC machinery, wire stripping and cutting machines, welding cells, and plating lines during the 2nd shift from 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Grayslake, Illinois.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $32.00/hr.
