Job Title: CNC Programmer
Job Description
Our CNC Programmer is responsible for creating computer numerically controlled (CNC) programs to automate machinists’ tools using computer-generated electronic data.
Responsibilities
+ Ensure adherence to safety regulations and standards. Follow safety culture and wear PPE when required.
+ Check completed programs using Veircut software.
+ Create tooling and setup sheets.
+ Analyze and solve tool and program-related issues on the floor.
+ Review and modify existing programs/processes and setup times for continuous improvement.
+ Follow 6S procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area.
+ Perform other duties as assigned.
Essential Skills
+ Experience with CNC milling multi-axis programming.
+ Ability to choose and/or design correct tooling and apply speeds and feeds based on process and materials.
+ Ability to interpret blueprints and knowledge of CNC machining.
+ Excellent technical skills.
+ Analytical thinker with interpersonal skills.
+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders.
+ Strong computer proficiency (MS Office – Word, Excel, and Outlook).
+ Must be able to work under pressure and meet multiple deadlines while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service.
+ Ability to work independently and carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ NX CAD/CAM experience preferred.
+ Processing experience preferred.
+ Understanding of machining techniques and materials.
+ Experience in the aerospace manufacturing industry, including aerospace standards and specifications, preferred.
+ Working knowledge of manufacturing outside processes (e.g., plating, surface treatments, and heat treat).

The role involves working with advanced CNC milling and multi-axis programming technologies, and requires strong computer proficiency. Job Type & Location
This is a Permanent position based out of Southwick, Massachusetts.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $115000.00/yr.
