Job Title: Maintenance Technician
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team and ensure the smooth operation of our production equipment. This role is essential for maintaining the efficiency and safety of our machinery and facilities.
Responsibilities
+ Perform scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment.
+ Prepare and set up machinery for scheduled production runs.
+ Execute mechanical skills including troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems for packaging and production equipment.
+ Implement a preventative maintenance program for all facilities and equipment.
+ Provide emergency and unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production.
+ Comply with OSHA safety and health rules.
+ Perform other duties as assigned.
Essential Skills
+ Proficiency in troubleshooting, electrical, mechanical, repair, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
+ Experience in preventive maintenance and use of hand tools.
+ Ability to perform PLC troubleshooting.
+ Knowledge of industrial machines and capital equipment.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ High School diploma or equivalent.
+ 2+ years of related experience in packaging or production machinery.
+ Technical training with exposure to various types of manufacturing machinery preferred.
+ Ability to perform general to advanced math computations.
+ Strong written and verbal communication skills.
+ Ability to take initiative to solve problems.
+ Ability to lift approximately 40 lbs.
+ Capability to frequently engage in push, pull, squat, bend, and reach activities.
Work Environment
The role requires working in a cleanroom environment in certain areas. The work schedule is Monday to Friday from 7:00 am to 3:00 pm.

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of Manchester, Connecticut.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $28.00/hr.
