    Job Title: CNC Grinder Machinist

    Job Description

    The CNC Grinder Machinist is responsible for producing parts according to customer specifications using CNC grinders, manual grinding, and polishing techniques. The role demands adherence to quality standards and timely completion of customer orders. Effective communication with management and ensuring accurate data entry for CNC programming are essential.

    Responsibilities

    + Produce parts to customer specifications using CNC grinders, manual grinding, and polishing.

    + Ensure quality standards are met as required by quality specifications.

    + Follow dashboard to ensure customer orders are completed in a timely manner with respect to priority.

    + Partner and communicate with management on problem resolutions.

    + Ensure accurate data entry for programming the CNC Grind machine.

    + Complete paperwork as required by company and processing guidelines.

    + Maintain a clean work area at all times.

    + Ensure proper PPE is worn and safety guidelines are followed.

    + Dispose of hazardous waste materials correctly.

    + Perform other duties as assigned.

    Essential Skills

    + Proficiency in operating CNC grinders and manual grinding equipment.

    + Ability to read and interpret tape measures accurately.

    + Experience with programming dimensions for CNC machines.

    + Detail-oriented with precise measurement capabilities.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience with centerless grinding and centerless machines.

    + Familiarity with bridgeport, jig, horizontal lathe operations.

    + Ability to perform own set-ups on old manual machines.

    The work environment involves collaboration with a team, while also requiring the ability to work independently. The machinist will operate both new and old manual machines, ensuring precision in measurements and adherence to safety protocols.

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $62400.00 - $83200.00/yr.
