Job Title: Inspector - 1st Shift

Job Description

Join an industry-leading manufacturer that is at the top of its market. This role is located at a full-cycle manufacturing plant. The Inspector role is crucial in maintaining quality standards for a wide range of clients in the automotive, commercial, and industrial sectors.

Responsibilities

+ Work alongside machine operators to inspect cut hoses.

+ Use micrometers, rulers, and visual inspection techniques to ensure accuracy.

+ Fill out inspection reports

+ Move between four machines, inspecting products at each station.

+ Utilize hand tools to trim frayed ends of hoses if necessary.

Essential Skills

+ Minimum 6 months of relevant experience.

+ Stable work history with no more than three job changes in a year.

+ Strong attention to detail.

+ Willingness to learn and be a team player.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience in manufacturing settings is preferred.

Work Environment

The position is located in a large production facility with around 110 permanent employees working across three shifts. The dress code allows for casual attire such as jeans and t-shirts, with a uniform provided upon permanent employment.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Suffield, Connecticut.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr.
