General Laborer

Job Description

As a General Laborer, you will be responsible for setting up molds, assembling rebar cages, pouring and finishing concrete, and maintaining a safe work environment. You will operate a range of hand and power tools, measuring devices, mobile equipment, and cranes. The role involves working around suspended loads and high-tension strands, as well as accessing scaffolds and other elevated work platforms. General laborer duties and special projects may also be assigned as needed.

Responsibilities

+ Set up molds and assemble rebar cages.

+ Pour and finish concrete, ensuring safety at all times.

+ Operate hand and power tools, measuring devices, mobile equipment, and cranes.

+ Work around suspended loads and high-tension strands.

+ Access scaffolds and other elevated work platforms.

+ Perform general laborer duties and special projects as required.

Essential Skills

+ Experience in general construction and production.

+ Proficiency in using tape measures and hand tools.

+ Capability to utilize power tools and handle concrete.

+ Knowledge in construction, general labor, and concrete finishing.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience in roles such as batch plant, drivers, concrete finishers, rigging crew, carpenters, welders, and mechanics.

+ General labor experience is required.

Work Environment

The position involves working indoors in a production environment. You will assist with shoveling concrete and must wear steel-toed boots. No certifications are required.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.51 - $30.00/hr.
