Job Title: Endpoint Engineer / SCCM Engineer
Work Terms: Contract until October
Work Location: Columbus, Ohio

Detailed Description: As the Endpoint Engineer / SCCM Engineer, the qualified candidate will support the MCM current branch with a working knowledge in modern device management (Intune). Responsibilities include:
+ Supporting the End-User Computing Automated Infrastructure Services team to maintain the Configuration Manager environment and package applications using InstallShield AdminStudio and VMware AppVolumes.
+ Providing key technical support in day-to-day sustainment functions, with a strong focus on SCCM Operating System Deployment (OSD).
+ Demonstrating strong knowledge of the end-to-end process of OSD and configuring OSD dynamically to create flexibility in the deployment process.
+ Utilizing OSD to perform PXE initiated, multicast, bootable media, stand-alone media, and pre-staged media deployments.
+ Collaborating with other departments or team members to design and execute the technical implementation of Intune solutions based on requirements and design specifications.
+ Possessing advanced experience with OSD around imaging, analysis, troubleshooting, and automating issue detections/resolutions (Level II/III Support).
+ Proficiency with PXE Solutions.
+ Developing automation processes (PowerShell), self-service options, and frameworks as needed.
+ Knowledgeable in multiple technology areas including client computer hardware, operating systems, end-user desktop software, and end-user device security management for both desktops and servers.
+ Serving as an escalation point for all Service Desk related issues.
Basic Qualifications:
+ Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 5 years of IT experience in core System Center functional areas like Configuration Manager, including WSUS, OSD, and automation using PowerShell.
+ Application packaging experience using InstallShield AdminStudio and VMware-AppVolumes, including use of System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM), InstallShield AdminStudio, and PowerShell App Deployment Toolkit.
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Advanced knowledge of application installations on the Microsoft Windows platform.
+ Experience with MCM administration, engineering, architecture, and implementation.
+ Experience with Co-Management (Intune + SCCM/MECM), Endpoint Manager, Cloud Management Gateway, and Microsoft Autopilot. Ability to design, implement, and troubleshoot Intune environments.
+ Experience troubleshooting issue remediation for client laptop and server communication and providing resolution.
+ Experience in desktop OS engineering and imaging.
+ Strong experience with PowerShell scripting and other command-line interfaces.
+ Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
+ Knowledge of security benchmarking, vulnerability scanning, and remediation technologies and procedures.
+ Experience with ServiceNow ticketing system and change management processes.
+ Experience managing SCCM applications, packages, and collections.
+ Extensive experience with scripting languages – PowerShell and Batch Scripting for application packaging and automation.
+ Strong learning aptitude and ability to learn new technologies independently.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $50.00/hr.
