Description

Our client is seeking an IT Project Manager to support application rationalization related projects. These projects will be related to migration applications off of data centers.

This person will hit the ground running, so independent thinking and ability to take initiative will be paramount. This role will be 50% vendor manager, 50% relationship manager with applications.

Key Responsibilities:

-Planning and Organizing: Develop comprehensive project plans that outline key milestones, deliverables, and timelines. Assign responsibilities to team members, ensuring clarity on project objectives and deadlines.

-Team Leadership: Lead and manage a diverse, cross-functional team, fostering a collaborative and inclusive environment. Provide guidance, support, and direction to team members to achieve project goals.

-Adaptability and Flexibility: Demonstrate the ability to adapt to changing project requirements and priorities. Continuously learn and apply new skills and knowledge to improve project outcomes.

-Project Management Expertise: Utilize your extensive knowledge of PMP concepts to manage projects effectively. Ensure adherence to project management best practices and methodologies.

-Multi-Project Management: Concurrently manage multiple projects and initiatives, ensuring all projects are progressing as planned. Monitor project performance and implement corrective actions as needed.

Qualifications:

-Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

-PMP certification or equivalent project management experience.

-Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT project management.

-Strong leadership and team management skills.

-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

-Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

-Proficiency in project management software and tools.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Banking experience helpful, not required

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $71.43 - $71.43/hr.
