    Job Summary:

    ESB is planning to train and develop HVAC controls service engineers. This position includes programming, service, and installation.

    Development Commitment:

    - Company paid factory and on-the-job training.

     

    - Candidates must be self-motivated to develop skills on their own through OEM technical literature and on-line classes.

     

    - Experience in hands-on troubleshooting and mechanical/electrical aptitude a plus.

    Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

    - **Program and Validate Complex DDC Systems:** Develop, test, and ensure the proper functioning of Direct

     

    Digital Control (DDC) systems to meet project specifications and performance standards.

     

    - **Respond to Controls Service Calls:** Address and resolve service calls related to control systems as required

     

    or dispatched, with travel throughout Western New York (WNY) as necessary.

     

    - **Diagnose and Repair Electronic Control System Malfunctions:** Utilize extensive knowledge of various

     

    electronic and digital control systems to identify issues, perform tests, and implement necessary

     

    modifications to restore functionality.

     

    - **Support Estimation and Project Coordination:** Assist in the estimation of service work and contribute to

     

    the planning and coordination of projects to ensure timely and efficient completion.

     

    - **Client and Staff Communication:** Maintain clear and effective communication with clients and internal

     

    staff to ensure customer satisfaction and address any concerns or requirements.

     

    - **Adhere to Corporate Policies:** Follow company policies regarding safety, work ethics, and time

     

    management to maintain a safe and productive work environment.

     

    - **Project Planning:** Proactively plan and organize project tasks to maximize productivity and efficiency on

     

    the job site.

    Required:

    - Successful completion of a DMV and background check (company vehicle and gas card provided).

     

    - Passing a drug screening.

     

    - OSHA 10 certification.

     

    - Experience in HVAC, electrical, and/or plumbing is highly desirable.
