CTG is seeking to fill an Application Consultant – Site Reliability opening for our client in Phoenix, AZ.
**Location:** Phoenix, AZ
**Duration:** 7 months
Duties:
+ Ensure the reliability, availability, and performance of critical enterprise applications and services.
+ Design, develop, and maintain automation tools and infrastructure to support application deployment and monitoring.
+ Work closely with development and operations teams to identify and resolve issues in the application lifecycle.
+ Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and other tools to streamline software delivery.
+ Utilize containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, GKE) to manage application deployments.
+ Implement best practices for incident management, root cause analysis, and preventative maintenance.
+ Contribute to improving scalability, resilience, and security of cloud-based environments (GCP).
Skills:
+ Proficient in Git-based version control systems (GitHub, GitLab, BitBucket, SVN).
+ Strong programming skills in Node.js and Java.
+ Experienced in CI/CD tools like Jenkins.
+ Skilled in containerization using Docker and orchestration using GKE.
+ Deep understanding of cloud platforms, particularly Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
+ Excellent troubleshooting and performance tuning capabilities.
Experience:
+ 6–9 years of hands-on experience in site reliability engineering, DevOps, or related roles.
+ Proven track record in building and maintaining production-grade systems and services.
Education:
+ Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred.
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
