CTG's long-standing Fortune 500 client of over 15 years has a W2 contract assignment for a Multi-Disciplined Technician II.

**Pay Rate:** Based on experience
**Work Hours:** M–F, 8am–5pm
**Education:** A.A.S. in Engineering Technology (or equivalent experience)
Description:
+ Support automation systems in the warehouse area of an Optical Fiber plant, focusing on order fulfillment systems.
+ Initial training schedule is M–F, 8am–4pm; work schedule will likely shift to a 12-hour day/night rotation aligned with the facility’s production schedule.
+ Seeking candidates with a strong technical background in automated warehouse systems and robotics, including AS/RS, Fanuc robots, and conveyor systems.
Primary Responsibilities:
+ Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain automation systems including mini load AS/RS cranes, Fanuc robots, roller conveyors, and automation devices.
+ Work with the operations team to ensure processes and equipment are operating efficiently.
+ Collaborate with engineering on complex issues and process improvement projects.
+ Perform and document preventative maintenance on all relevant equipment.
Requirements:
+ Demonstrated experience with AS/RS systems.
+ Hands-on experience with AC/DC and servo motors, pneumatic systems, sensors, valves, and PLC-controlled equipment.
+ Proficiency in Windows PC and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).
+ Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude and commitment to safety around automated equipment.
Required Qualifications:
Education:
+ Associate degree (A.A.S.) in Engineering Technology.
+ In lieu of a degree, 5+ years of hands-on experience with relevant automation and robotics equipment will be considered.
Qualifications:
+ Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues in automation and robotics systems.
+ Familiarity with warehouse control systems and industrial automation technologies.
Soft Skills:
+ Safety conscious.
+ Self-starter with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
+ Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
+ Results-driven and solution-oriented.
