    The Department of Neurology is seeking a **_JHIBS Summer Research Scholar_** to participate in a summer research mentoring program hosted by the Johns Hopkins Internship in Brain Sciences (JHIBS) Program in the Department of Neurology. Will conduct a short-term mentored research project in a laboratory or clinical research setting. Interns will give a poster and oral presentation on their research experiences at the mid-point or end of the program.

    Specific Duties & Responsibilities

    + Conduct in-person research under the guidance of a mentor at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine.

    + Attend and participate in regular lab meetings, seminars and journal clubs.

    + Present findings from their research at scientific conferences and workshops held virtually or in-person.

    Minimum Qualifications

    + Actively pursuing high school diploma

    + Acceptance into the JHIBS summer program.

    + Additional education may substitute for required experience and additional related experience may substitute for required education beyond HS Diploma/Graduation Equivalent, to the extent permitted by the JHU equivalency formula.

    Starting Salary Range: $15.00 - $20.25 HRLY (Commensurate w/exp.)
