Job Summary
Under general direction with a high level of autonomy, the Senior Manager, Conference & Engagement Strategy will coordinate the development and implementation of educational programs and content for the Investment Banking / PCG partnership, along with our conference and event participation calendar.
The role is responsible for leading projects, reporting processes, and event management with significant business impact involving cross-functional departments.
The successful candidate will work in partnership with Investment Banking Senior Management and RJF Marketing & Events to influence proper positioning, branding, and deployment of the IBex program, initiatives, and concepts. In order to do so, this individual needs to be a strong multi-tasker, capable of matching educational programming and messaging to a diverse range of conference and speaking events – both internal and external facing. This position will also be tasked with capturing and maintaining all data analytics associated with the IBex program’s impact to advisor practice growth, net new asset growth, and overall impact to the firm’s recruiting and HNW reputation.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
+ Lead the planning and coordination of IBex programs, national/regional conferences, financial advisor and business owner events, branch presentations, advisory councils, and other firm recruiting functions.
+ Creates enhancements to advisor referral process, including evaluation and development of a database to enhance reporting, review trends, and provide additional business insights.
+ Develops and deepens strategic relationships at a firm level to promote and integrate key growth initiatives for the Investment Bank.
+ Education content maintenance in line with RJF Marketing objectives.
+ Balances conflicting resource and priority demands.
+ Recommends changes to organizational processes as needed.
+ Incorporates Service first philosophy in product and service deliveries.
+ Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Knowledge of
+ Principles, practices, concepts and procedures of investment banking and financial markets and products.
+ Advanced knowledge of Financial Advisor practices and Wealth Management industry.
+ Reporting and database process development and maintenance.
+ Marketing and educational material development.
+ Conference and event planning.
Skill in
+ Developing and planning of education initiatives and managing projects from inception to implementation.
+ Coordinating and maintaining protocol over Investment Banking, professional partner, and financial advisor events.
+ Effective prioritization and time management skills.
+ Cultivating and maintaining effective working relationships at all levels of the organization.
+ Outstanding oral and written communications.
+ Operating standard office equipment and using required software application to produce correspondence, reports, electronic communication, and spreadsheets.

Educational/Previous Experience Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree from four-year college or university with a minimum of five (5) years’ experience in banking or financial services.
• Any equivalent combination of experience, education, and/or training approved by HR.
