Job Overview

We are looking for a **Culinary Assistant/Server** to join our team! This role is responsible for dining room meal service to our residents and maintaining supplies in the kitchenettes for our Assisted Living Community in River Falls, WI

This part-time food services position includes;

+ 48 hours per two week pay period

+ Early evening shift; 6:00am - 2:30pm and 11am - 7pm

+ Every other weekend rotation

The **Sycamore of River Falls** is a growing, full-service senior living community with 84 apartments including 68 blended independent and assisted living and 16 memory care apartments in a secured neighborhood on first floor. The property has four villa patio twin home units with two bedroom and three bedroom options for active, independent seniors. The apartment building consists of a variety of studios, one-bedroom, one-bedroom plus den, and two-bedroom units. The underground parking garage has 50 parking stalls, maintenance rooms, and residents’ storage area.

+ Serves prepared meals to residents and ensures the dining area is clean and inviting

+ Promotes and encourages positive resident relations and satisfaction with their meal service

+ Sanitizes equipment, work areas and maintains supplies

+ Assists with meal prep and special events

+ Provides kitchen support when needed with dishwashing and cleaning of floors

+ Answers phones and communicates requests appropriately

Required:

+ Excellent customer service skills and aptitude, teamwork and positive attitude required

+ Desire to work with seniors

+ Ability to interact empathetically and communicate effectively with residents and staff

+ Prefer some work experience in a customer service setting, but not required
