Are you detail-oriented, reliable, and passionate about patient care? Join Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh's inpatient pharmacy team as a Part-Time Pharmacy Technician and play a vital role in delivering life-saving medications with precision and care.

Title and rate of pay will be determined based on education and experience.

This position qualifies for a $2500 sign on bonus for a 2 year work commitment.

What You’ll Do:

+ Prepare and label oral and injectable medications, including sterile and hazardous drugs.

+ Support medication distribution, restocking, and inventory control.

+ Assist with investigational drug processes and ensure proper documentation.

+ Maintain cleanliness, safety, and compliance with state/federal regulations.

+ Collaborate with pharmacists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.

+ Completion of high school diploma or equivalent required AND one of the following:

+ Completion of an accredited pharmacy technician program

+ Six months of previous pharmacy technician experience

+ Six months experience as a Pharmacy Assistant within the UPMC Health System

+ Enrollment in a college program and in good standing **Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:**

+ Acts 31, 33, 34 and 73 FBI Clearance with renewal
