Are you passionate about the accuracy and integrity of patient health records? We’re looking for a detail-driven **HIM Technician** to bring their expertise to our **Central Scan Team** at our Boise Plaza. In this vital role, you’ll help ensure our electronic medical records (EMR) are complete, compliant, and accessible—making a real impact on patient care every day.

Schedule

This team provides support Monday - Friday, 7:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. You can expect your 8-hour shift to land within these hours of operation.

What You Can Expect

+ Take charge of managing electronic medical records with accuracy and attention to detail.

+ Verify, import, prepare, scan, and maintain patient health documents in a timely manner.

+ Review medical records for completeness and regulatory compliance.

+ Monitor document indexing queues and ensure correct filing within the EMR.

+ Accurately document and transcribe health information, including creating new encounters and orders.

+ Perform other related duties as needed to support our mission.

Qualifications

+ High School Diploma or equivalent

+ One (1) year experience

Preferred Qualifications

+ A strong understanding of health information management systems.

+ A commitment to maintaining confidentiality and compliance with all applicable laws and policies.

+ Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.

+ Prior experience in HIM or a related healthcare documentation role is preferred.
