    + Specifically looking for folks who have instrumentation experience within LIMS systems.

     

    As a System Integration Engineer on the implementation team, you will serve as a subject matter expert in the selection, installation, calibration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of specialized instruments integrated with solutions. This role requires close collaboration with Professional Services Consultants and clients to understand technical requirements and ensure that instruments are properly configured and functioning to support those needs effectively.

     

    + Configure instruments and software in accordance with client specifications and operational requirements.

    + Collaborate with coworkers or clients to ensure instruments are properly calibrated for accurate and reliable results.

    + Prepare and maintain detailed documentation related to instrument configuration and setup.

    + Build strong client relationships by identifying needs, resolving issues, and ensuring high levels of satisfaction.

    + Perform interface installations using standardized configurations to meet client data capture, storage, and reporting needs.

    + Demonstrate a foundational understanding of best practices in implementing client software solutions.

    + Ensure instruments and processes adhere to relevant industry standards and regulatory requirements (e.g., ISO, FDA).

    + Manage and prioritize assigned projects and tasks to meet required timelines and deliverables.

    + Independently troubleshoot and resolve complex system-related issues.

    + Coordinate effectively with vendors, client teams, and internal departments to support on-time project delivery.

    + Stay informed on industry developments and recommend system enhancements or upgrades as needed.

    + Proactively resolve project challenges or escalate issues to senior staff or management when necessary.

    + Collaborate with and mentor fellow Professional Services Consultants to enhance product knowledge and client support capabilities.

    + Organize and prioritize tasks to ensure successful and timely project completion.

    + Perform additional duties as assigned.

    Skills for Success

    + Proven ability to work autonomously and manage project priorities effectively from initiation through completion

    + Deep understanding of client and laboratory workflows, particularly in relation to software applications and system interfaces

    + Excellent communication and presentation abilities, with confidence in engaging stakeholders at all organizational levels

    + Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities

    + Skilled in mentoring and offering consultative support to enhance workflow efficiency and procedural effectiveness

    + Bachelor's in a relevant field or equivalent work experience.

    + Instrumentation & Calibration: 3+ years, ideally with LIS/LIMS (Laboratory Information/Lab Information Management Systems).

    + Programming & Data Handling: 3+ years with programming (e.g., C#), data mapping, and working in customer-focused environments.

    + Cloud Technologies: Azure, SaaS, and general cloud experience.

    + Database & Coding: PL/SQL and C#.

    + Networking Knowledge: TCP/IP, DB9/DB25 cabling, SFTP, file sharing.

    + API Experience: Familiarity with integration standards, particularly in lab/healthcare contexts.

    + Standards Protocols: ASTM and HL7, which are common in healthcare/lab data exchange.

    Other Requirements

    • Up to 20% travel may be required.
