ProMedica Physicians Cardiothoracic Surgeons is seeking a Physician Assistant to join their busy and established practice located conveniently on the campus of ProMedica Toledo Hospital in Toledo, Ohio. Our ProMedica Physicians Cardiothoracic Surgeons team is made up of the most experienced, board-certified cardiothoracic surgeons and advanced practice providers in northwest Ohio. Providing surgical treatment for the heart and lungs, from open-heart surgeries to minimally invasive procedures, patients have expert care for the most advanced, state-of-the-art technology and surgical techniques close to home.

Position Details:

Monday-Friday, with rotating weekends

Shared call rotation amongst Providers

Practice consists of 5 Surgeons, 5 PA's and 5 NP's

Total procedures for 2024: Hearts - 802, Lungs - 55, TAVR's - 185 and Other - 187

Highly skilled position- works closely with surgeons, used as first assistant in surgery

Physician Assistant

Master’s degree

Must license eligible or hold an active, unrestricted license in the state of Ohio.

Certificate of Authority to practice.

Current American Heart Association (AHA) CPR certification.

Surgical experience preferred
